They say when you write down a goal your subconscious minds goes to work to Make it Happen. Up until about a year and a half ago. I never wrote down goals. I said them out loud sometimes and thought about them but I never wrote them down.
I kept studying successful people through out history and they all said that actually writing your goals down on paper held a magic that nothing else could match. So finally I thought why not what do I have to loose. So I took a piece of paper and I wrote down some goals that made me squirm with discomfort. I was embarrassed that I would dream that big. I did it anyway.
This last week I found that paper and I was astonished I had written down a goal to make $00,000 a month. Yes I know it seems outrageous doesn’t it? What would I need that much money a month for? Should anyone have that much money? Well I could go on…. The point is that I am this…close to making that now….in the next few months I will be there. WOW!
Helping my married children, donating money and drawing up my dream house plans with my husband are just a few of the things my goal of less than two years ago has made possible.
Now granted I have worked hard, sweated a little…sometimes a lot. I have been having more fun than I thought possible helping others do the same. I share all of this because I hope it encourages you to take out a piece of paper and dream big! Write it down. God does teach there is nothing like the power of written word.
As for me I have a new sheet of paper with bigger goals. Next year at this time I will post the results.
When you see a thing clearly in your mind, your creative “success mechanism” within you takes over and does the job much better than you could do it by conscious effort or “willpower.”” ~ Maxwell Maltz
