“A racehorse that consistently runs just a second faster than another horse is worth millions of dollars more. Be willing to give that extra effort that separates the winner from the one in second place.” ~ H. Jackson Brown Jr.
See most people don’t stop to think that all they have to do to win is keep running the race. That they just need to hang in there a little longer. Do just a little more than the next person.
The tendency for most people is to see what’s wrong and to start complaining with the rest of the complainers. Before they know it they have not only lost the race….they look up to see they aren’t even in the race anymore.
Do you murmur? Do you get caught up with what’s not right? Do you quit? Or do you want to stay in the race, do just a little bit more and end up a winner?
