Have you ever looked up the word reach in the dictionary? Wow it is pretty awesome.
Reach:
- to get to or get as far as in moving, going, traveling,
- to come to or arrive at in some course of progress, action
- to succeed in touching or seizing
- to amount to, as in the sum or total
- to make a movement or effort
When you physically reach for something do you feel the stretch?
Sometimes when stretching we feel discomfort at first. We may experience a tightness that causes us some concern. Ahhh but when we move through it don’t you love the feel of a good stretch?
My point is that anything in life worth getting requires us to reach for it… to stretch beyond what is comfortable…to hang in there when things feel caught and stuck in a bad place.
Knowing this it always amazes me when people aren’t willing to reach or stretch for something they want. Especially when they say they want it but when it comes to it they aren’t willing to stretch past their negative beliefs, thoughts and fears.
Nothing for no one or anybody comes without seeing and reaching past the tight spots.
