I love the story of the old Eskimo who used to pit his lead sled dogs against one another in weight-pulling contests. The Eskimo had one black dog and one white dog, and they seemed to out pull each other on a regular basis. Amazingly, the Eskimo always placed his bet on the winning dog.
Long after the two dogs were retired, one of the villagers asked how the Eskimo always knew which one of the two evenly matched dogs would win in a given contest. How did he know which one to bet on?… “It was very easy.” the old Eskimo replied. “I’d bet on the one I’d been feeding all week.”
Dogs and minds are no different - the one we feed is the one that’s going to win.
The mind is always hungry and it feeds on whatever we give it. Feed it negativity and it will give us negative energy. Feed it positive food and it will give us positive energy. The choice is ours.
