You Were Born to Be Awesome

When I walked across the stage and accepted my title my kids thought I was totally awesome. I had been terrified to enter the competition the only reason I did was because I chose to believe and trust that all of God’s children were truly born to be awesome.

Did you know you were born to be awesome?

Or has all the pressure and demands of life, like: work, kids, and all the other unexpected trials caused you to overlook this important truth? God created you to be awesome. He has a plan for your life and he wants to use you.

Even if you ‘re shaking your head no, or you’re feeling depressed or so overwhelmed with life that you can’t or won’t believe a word I am saying, there is a part of you that wants it to be true and that is the part that needs to be listened to.

Awesome means: impressive: so impressive as to inspire.

Being awesome and inspiring others is not to be considered another burden or duty to add to our to-do list. Instead this knowledge is supposed to help us to be able to take a fresh look at how we’re feeling about ourselves and our lives.

If we are not experiencing our “awesomeness,” if we are experiencing daily overwhelm and a lack of joy then its way past time for us to reconnect with who we are and why we’re here. While there is definitely more than one simple answer to the questions, who we are and why we’re here, we are only going to tackle one of those answers today. And that is we were born to be awesome, we each have qualities and gifts that are meant to inspire.

Today’s Life on Purpose Challenge: Let’s practice allowing ourselves to believe in our birthright to be awesome and to bless the lives of others. The easiest way to do this is to change our mindset. When we change our mindset we can start liking ourselves and we can start enjoying our lives. And we can start living our life on purpose. I suggest every day that we need to focus on and devour quotes and keep repeating positive affirmations, until we believe them.

Each day’s Life on Purpose quotes and affirmations add and build on each other. They are tools that will assist you in connecting with the awesome truth that you were born where and when you were so you could fulfill a divine mission and purpose.
