Our family loves to go to the Jumbo Chinese Buffet. Generally this has been a good choice for me, since I have to watch my weight. I lost 50lbs a few years ago and I have to work to keep it off. Lately I have been struggling, being slowed down by backsurgery and having reconnected with my overactive sweet tooth has birthed eight pounds.
So yesterday when they suggested Chinese, I thought this sounds doable! I would choose from the wide array of vegetables and eat at the Mongolian Grill they have.
All was going well, then I spied the hot apple strudel which knew my name, it was calling me. Not wishing to be rude, I answered it’s sweet, warm invitation. Of course all the eat healthy alarms, bells and whistles went off. So I did what I am always coaching others to do. I weighed everything out in my mind and then implemented, one of the top diet tips all successful dieters use, I made sure that I left a portion of every peice of strudel on my plate all three times.
