I woke up with a sore throat, I had been so tired all week and now I knew why. I had been coming down with the flu. I shuffled around in my pink robe and slippers, my hair standing straight on end hoping to gather enough strength to meet the demands of the day.

Finally I realized that I needed to cancel my appointments. My mind protested, Wait this can’t happen, you didn’t schedule this, we can’t afford to take the day off, we have to much to do!

Stress hormones started pouring into my blood stream, and then thankfully thoughts of reason took over. On my bathroom wall I have a series of quotes. Several time a day they have my undivided attention. These quotes have become a part of my thought process and the way I filter my life and therefore they have become my reality.

One of the quotes reads:

I believe I am always divinely guided. I believe I will always take the right road. I believe God will always make a way where there is no way.

I am not sure you the author of this quote is. If anyone else does, make sure to let us know. I have come to believe that whatever comes my way is on purpose and is meant not only for my highest and greatest good but my highest and greatest joy.

I believe that I have the choice to ask for divine guidance from my Creator and that he can make more out of my life than I can. I worked for a long time to make this my core belief. Once it became true for me great and miraculous things became part of my every day life.

Albert Einstein said, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as if everything is.”

As I have studied the lives and works of the great men and women who make up the best of our history I’ve noticed a pattern. These great minds seemed to share the same way of thinking. They believed in a power higher and greater than their own. They believed in miracles and the power each one of us possess to accomplish great things.

Sadly most people never even consider their potential let alone tap into their power to live a life of greatness and do what they came to this planet to do.

If you are serious about tapping into your potential, post quotes on your bathroom wall and ponder them daily. Introduce your mind to what you are capable of doing, if you are willing to make changes. Napoleon Hill said “What the mind can conceive it can achieve.”

Make sure to read my Life On Purpose blog everyday and implement the suggestions I share. Do this and bring about what will at first seem to be only small changes, but don’t be deceived these changes over time will add up and bring about magnificent results.
