Good Stuff

“People who feel good about themselves produce good results.” I came across this quote the other day while I was reading, “The one minute manager.”

This is such a powerful truth; when I feel good about myself and my future I get so much more done. I try more things, reach out to more people, I feel like staying on of top things, and so I do.

I have found the opposite to be equally as true. When I don’t feel good about myself or when I feel like there seems to be little hope I barely make it through the day and I quickly get behind.

Having grown up with such a low-self-esteem coupled with being a bit of a drama queen I have had to find ways to feel good about myself and life.

I and those I coach do two simple powerful things that keep us feeling good about ourselves and enjoying productive and happy lives. The two things we do are:

—Look for the good in others and verbalize it.

—Learn to focus on our strengths instead of our weaknesses.

When we will feel good about ourselves we produce results we can feel good about.

Today’s Life on Purpose Quote:

“Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.”— Og Mandino

Today’s Life on Purpose Challenge:

Treat yourself and others with the love and kindness and start enjoying the harvest that doing these two simple things will bring.
