Martin Luther King was a great inspiration. One of my favorite quotes of his is “Everyone is born for greatness, not necessarily for fame but for greatness, because greatness is determined by service.”
Everyone of us has the capability to live a life of greatness, all of us can serve. Service does not need to be a big production. Anything that brightens the day or lightens the load of another is acting in greatness.
Everyday I ask God to use me as his instrument. When I do this I am given many opportunities to reach out to others. Most of the time it is as simple as smiling at a stranger or being the first to say “I love you” after a disagreement with my spouse.
Terry my spouse and I are both Taurus’s so we are always always disagreeing about something. We are ridiculous, sometimes he says we should record this for one of my podcast and I say are you kidding? We are so bad that one time my daughter Kourtney who is fourteen said you two sound like six year olds.
The point is that when I can get passed my bull headed, I am always right Taurus pride and choose to take greatness actions a feeling of peace and strength washes over me. So my vote is for choosing greatness and experiencing peace. Every time we choose to take a greatness action, we pull strength, joy, and power into our life. We connect with the truest and best part of us. The highest and best part of ourselves, the part that is our earth challenge to remember in it’s fullness and use to make the world a better place.
So ask to be used for greatness, choose it, do it and start experiencing the life of power and impact you were born to live. Live your “Life on Purpose,” the world is waiting for you.
